It’s a community responsibility to keep children safe. At Peel CAS we receive many calls each year from concerned citizens, teachers, police, other agencies and health care professionals about children and families who may need help. Last year we received more than 12,000 calls, and worked with over 10,000 families. We didn’t do this on our own. When a family needs support, Peel CAS links them with a variety of community services such as Peel Children’s Centre, Associated Youth Services Peel, Child Development Resources Peel, South Asian Welcome Centre, and United Achievers’ Community Services just to name a few. Together Peel CAS and our partners work with children and families for a stronger, healthier community.
We work in partnership with organizations and agencies that provide the following services:
Within our partnerships with other child protection agencies we have develop a coordinated strategy for the reporting and assessment of child protection concerns.
