This section of our web site is devoted to serving the youth in our specialized Independence program.

The program is for young people in the care of Peel Children's Aid who are living independently in the community. Focussed on youth, sixteen years of age and older, the Independence program is designed to help young adults optimize life skills, achieve education and career goals and pave the way to mature self-sufficiency.

If you are interested in learning more about who can enter the program and what services we offer, please see the Who is eligible and Services for Youth pages.

The Living Independently section is an ongoing work in progress.

Content will be suggested and created by youth for youth.  Afterall, living independently is a time of learning . . . made easier when we share information and help each other along.
