Free Ball Hockey Program in Caledon

Jul 21, 2025, 15:52 PM

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)'s Caledon detachment and Peel Children’s Aid Society are proud to present a free ball hockey program in partnership with House of Hockey, a Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) Foundation community program.

This 5-week program is open to Caledon residents, ages 8-15, and runs Thursdays at 5:30 to 7:30 pm between July 31 – August 28, 2025.

All necessary equipment will be provided, absolutely free, and participants of all skill levels are welcome. Learn about the fundamentals of ball hockey from experienced coaches, with other key life skills mixed in.

The program is hosted at the Caledon OPP Detachment at 15924 Innis Lake Road, Caledon East, ON L7C 2Z1. Free parking and refreshments will be available on site. Please direct any questions to: 15512@opp.ca

This is the third year running that Peel CAS has been named a site for MLSE Foundation’s House of Hockey League. To date we have run hockey programs specifically for youth involved with our agency. This is the first time we are offering the program to youth in the community, in partnership with OPP.
