Orthodox Christmas
Many Orthodox Christians around the world celebrate Christmas Day on January 7 as their churches use the Julian Calendar for holiday reference. It's generally celebrated the same way as the December 25 date, however there may be variations in prayer and culinary preparations wherein many Orthodox Christians fast the day prior.
