Dress Purple Day

Add to:

Every October, Children’s Aid Societies across Ontario raise awareness about the important role that individuals and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families through the provincial Dress Purple Day campaign. We are focusing on centering the voice of our children and youth where eradicating all forms of oppression, racism, intolerance, prejudice, and discrimination remains a top priority. Together we will continue to speak up for every child and youth’s right to safety and well-being in all spaces. We will dress purple on October 25 to show children, youth, and families that we are here to help. Will You?

Help us spread the word!

Throughout the month of October, you can help Peel “go purple” by creating a video or posting a photo of you or your team in purple while sharing on social media and tagging us @PeelCAS on Twitter / Instagram and @PeelChildrensAid on Facebook / LinkedIn. By sharing these images you are demonstrating that you are a part of a community that cares for vulnerable children, youth and families – they are not alone, you are here to help.
