Performance Indicators

Performance management, or performance indicators, are an important step to enhance accountability. The goal of performance indicators is to support effective organizational planning, oversight, and to generate increased knowledge aimed at improving services and outcomes for the children, youth and families we serve.

To date, there have been 26 provincial performance indicators approved by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. At this stage, five indicators are being publicly reported that focus on safety, permanency and well-being. Click here to read the provincial aggregate performance results. Click on the links below for Peel CAS data in each of these areas.
