At Peel CAS, our values drive our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). We believe that DEI is not just the right thing to do, it is the smart thing to do for our staff, children, youth, volunteers, caregivers, partners, and the communities that we serve.
We invite you to review the information in this section to learn about our DEI journey and community partnerships, discover our array of ethno-culturally responsive programs, and connect with our Community Engagement team.
We are also proud to share with you our Peel CAS DEI 2020-2021 Achievements.
We appreciate and celebrate the diversity in all levels of our organization including our Board, and are grateful that our workplace diversity is representative of the communities that we serve. We have a long history of leadership in diversity, equity and inclusion, working with community partners to confront racism and oppression of marginalized communities. Yet, we know that there is more work to be done.

November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month – an important opportunity for all of us to learn more about violence against women, and how we can help. Our goal for this year is to honour and raise awareness of the magnitude of the issue of Family and Intimate Partner Violence within the Region of Peel. The Family and Intimate Partner Violence Team is hosting two events in honour of Woman Abuse Prevention Month.
