Toronto Maple Leafs announced that we are 1 of 5 organizations to be part of their House of Hockey Ball Hockey league in collaboration with Justin Bieber's Drew House sponsored by Tim Hortons!
The Maple Leafs House of Hockey is committed to being an inclusive, impactful ball hockey program by addressing the number of barriers keeping youth on the sidelines and setting the standard for accessible hockey opportunities. Their mission is to create a movement that inspires youth to play, and the greater hockey community to elevate the sport at the grassroots level. The Maple Leafs, Drew House, and other organizations will donate equipment, jerseys, sticks and merchandise, as well as provide skills coaches to teach players basic fundamentals.
Leveling the playing field is a game-changer for the children, youth, and families we support. Together we are strengthening our services to help young people succeed by providing opportunities for fun and recreation while helping to build social connections with peers, nurture positive well-being, and learn important life skills from mentors.
Thank you to all of the wonderful teams at MLSE Foundation, MLSE LaunchPad and our sister agency Peel Children's Aid Foundation for making this dream a reality for children and youth in our community!
