Happy Nurses Week! This week, and every week, we celebrate the dedication of our nurses who make a meaningful difference in the lives of families across our community!

Sharing a photo below of our incredible Infant Care Consultants - a team of Nurses at Peel CAS who support families with children aged 0-18 months with unwavering compassion and expertise in health education and infant cognitive development. They work together with families in our community to ensure they have the resources, care, and support they need 💜

The theme for this year's campaign is The Power of Nurses to Transform Health. It highlights the incredible impact nurses have in shaping health care, driving innovation, and advocating for patient-centred care. Helping over 100 families each month, our Infant Wellness Program has been actively involved in a range of early intervention initiatives, including prenatal services and a continued collaboration with Malton Neighbourhood Services' Early ON Centre - aimed at fostering family engagement, strengthening community connections, and promoting positive parenting.

Thank you to our team of Nurses for being part of the frontline care for children, youth and families in our community. Your gentle hands, kind hearts, and steady presence help to bring comfort to infants and their families every day.
